Ability Ministry is looking for talented curriculum writers and graphic designers with experience in creating special needs ministry curriculum for children and teens. If you have a passion for inclusive ministry and a background in developing materials for students with disabilities, we’d love to hear from you!

Ability Ministry is building a team of writers and graphic designers to work together on a three-year curriculum project. Writers and graphic designers will be paid for their work.

Prospective writers and graphic designers should submit a letter of interest along with samples of previous work.

In your letter of interest, please include the following:

  1. Introduction: Briefly introduce yourself, your background, and your passion for disability ministry.
  2. Relevant Experience: Highlight your experience in writing curriculum or graphic design, specifically for children and teens with disabilities or in disability ministry.
  3. Skills & Expertise: Detail any specific skills or expertise you bring, such as working with various learning styles, behavioral needs, or inclusive teaching strategies.
  4. Why You’re Interested: Explain why you are excited about the opportunity to work with Ability Ministry and contribute to their mission.
  5. Contact Information: Include your contact details and preferred method of communication.

Don’t forget to attach your writing samples alongside the letter!

Jason joins the Ability Ministry team and brings over 20 years of graphic design and marketing experience to the table. He has handled projects from local start-up businesses to publicly owned internationally based companies, including a Shark Tank company. Jason currently reside in Louisville with his wife, two daughters, and dog Pepper. In his spare time, he is a Master’s competitor in USA Weightlifting. His family attends Southeast Christian Church.
