General Questions

After purchasing curriculum, can I give that to another teacher at my church?

Yes! We realize that you might be the contact person for financial decisions and not the person who is leading a class.  If you have a team of teachers, it is perfectably acceptable to provide your team with the curriculum download.  We highly recommend making a backup copy of your download once you have it.

Do you accept guest blogs and if so, how do I submit my content?

We accept guest blogs on a very limited basis.  Your content must be faith-based and specifically about reaching those effected by disability.  Blogs promoting businesses will not be accepted.

I am interested in starting a program similar to Rise Fitness. Can I schedule some time to talk to someone to get more information and find out what I need to make that happen?

Send a message to connect@abilityministry.com to check on Jason’s availability. We can schedule a time to talk and will gladly go over everything you will need to get started.

I am looking for a church with a disability ministry in a specific area. Is there a way for me to search for that information on your website?
Is there a wish-list of items that I can order via Amazon and have shipped directly to New Hope or Riverwood?

Our residential group facilities, New Hope and Riverwood, require a lot of supplies and items on a daily basis.  Many have asked what items we need the most, which is why we have put together a want/need list via Amazon.  You can shop these items and have them shipped directly to New Hope or Riverwood. NOTE: When you check out, the default shipping address is our Riverwood address.  If you wish to ship items to New Hope, please make sure you change the shipping address, which should be included in the options.  If you have any trouble using the wish list, please contact us.

I was told I could send cards and other mail to the residents at New Hope and Riverwood. How do I mail them something?

Our residents love birthday cards and all mail in general! We have a list of their birthdays and mailing addresses available here.

I would like to schedule a time for Ryan to come speak at my church/organization. How do I do that?

Send a message to connect@abilityministry.com to check on Ryan’s availability.

Awesome! Fill out our consultation request form. We’d love to talk with you!

Are there other ways to support your ministry without donating money?
  • If you are in the the Louisville, TN or Versailles, MO you can donate your time and work directly with our staff and residents. If you aren’t in the area and you still want to help out our residents there are multiple ways. Pick something off our Amazon wishlist, send our residents a birthday card, commit to pray for our residents, etc.
  • If you have a specific skill set and you want to donate your time remotely that is an option too! We are always looking for people who are skilled in video editing, website design, photography, proofreading, the arts, and more. If interested in donating your time in this way send us a message at connect@abilityministry.com.
  • We also accept other forms of donations like gifts through wills, donated stocks, donated property, cryptocurrency, etc. If interested in making a donation of this kind send us a message at connect@abilityministry.com

Is my donation tax deductible?

Absolutely! If you need record of your donation for your taxes please reach out to us at connect@abilityministry.com.

Technical Questions

When do you answer support questions regarding curriculum?

Support for curriculum, or any digital resource, is available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EST.  Requests that are sent after 5:00 p.m. EST will be answered the following day.  We do our very best to answer all questions within 24 hours, however, there are times when we are traveling or our schedule is full so we may not be able to reply immediately.

How do I change the username or email on my account?

Login into your account and select “Account Details.”  From there, you should be able to update all of your contract information.

A former staff member at our church bought curriculum from Ability Ministry but I don’t have access to their email.  How can I download the curriculum they purchased?

Send an email to connect@abilityministry.com with as much information about the previous purchases as you have available.  We can look up the information and provide you the links to download any curriculum that you need.

Can I download all of the curriculum onto my iPad or iPhone?

We highly recommend downloading all materials onto a laptop or desktop.

We have multiple accounts on Ability Ministry from a variety of staff members.  Can we merge all of the accounts and purchases into a single account and access all purchase history from there?

Unfortunately, we cannot merge accounts.

When I was looking over the series I just downloaded, it seems like it would make more sense for our group to have several slides covering a specific verse or topic.  Can I change it?

Yes! All of our curriculum is digital and we provide you with the PowerPoint files so that you can make changes.  After all, you know your group better than we do.  Some topics might take several weeks and that is great!

I am trying to print the leader’s guide from a curriculum series that I just purchased but it is not working.  How do I print this file?

Make sure you have downloaded all of the curriculum files and extracted them from the zip file before you try to print any of the materials.

Because Jesus' table is accessible for everyone...

We desire to see the Church make room for all people affected by disability. To fully participate. To fully partner. To fully lead.

We exist to equip and empower the 25% of the population with a disability, their families, and their churches to become who God has created them to be.
