We recently received an email from Ron Hanson about a song that his son Joel had produced. The song and lyrics moved us and we wanted to share their thoughts and the song with you.

This song was written to honor the often-overlooked value and dignity of those with disabilities. In many cultures, the disabled are marginalized or seen as less than—but their worth in God’s eyes is immeasurable. Inspired by my brother, David Hanson, who was severely disabled yet embodied the love, purity, and gentleness of Christ more than anyone I’ve ever known. This song is dedicated to him, the best little guy I have ever known—a true reflection of Christ’s heart.
