Want to Grow Diversity in Your Church? Start Here.

Many churches long for greater diversity because it reflects the beauty of God’s Kingdom. We know heaven will be filled with people from every tribe, language, and background—so of course we want our congregations to mirror that now. Many churches long for greater diversity because it reflects the beauty of God’s Kingdom. We know heaven will be filled with people from every tribe, language, and background—so of course we want our congregations to mirror that now.

But here’s the challenge: Most churches don’t know where to begin.

Good news—I do. And I’m here to help.

If your church is truly serious about growing diversity, here’s the most overlooked yet guaranteed place to start:

Reach your disability community for Jesus.

When you do, diversity will grow—guaranteed.

Why Will Reaching the Disability Community Grow Diversity?

Because disability doesn’t discriminate.

Disability crosses every line—race, gender, age, religion, income, geography, and more. It’s the only minority group with open enrollment. No one chooses it, and anyone can join at any time.

You’ll find people with disabilities in every neighborhood, every school, every demographic. Yet in most churches, they are missing—or underrepresented—not because they don’t want to belong, but because we haven’t made room for them.

When your church truly includes people with disabilities, you’re not just adding a program. You’re opening the doors to a beautifully diverse group of people and families from all walks of life.

This Isn’t Just About Programs—It’s About People

Jesus constantly went out of His way to reach those the world overlooked. He touched the untouchable. He welcomed the rejected. He saw the people others passed by. That’s the kind of church we’re called to be.

And when we prioritize disability inclusion, something incredible happens:

  • We see new families walk through the door.
  • We learn to communicate more clearly and lovingly.
  • We grow in compassion, creativity, and joy.
  • And yes—we reflect the Kingdom of God more fully.

So… What Are You Waiting For?

Disability inclusion isn’t optional if we want to be like Jesus.

It’s not a side project. It’s not charity.

It’s the mission.

Want to grow diversity in your church?

Start with those most often left out.

Reach your disability community for Jesus—and watch your diversity grow.
