Mission Trips

Organize a trip to support Ability Ministry.

We welcome churches and disability ministry teams from across the U.S. to share Jesus' love and care for our Riverwood (Louisville, TN) and New Hope (Versailles, MO) residents. Our visiting teams have found it's both a great serving and learning opportunity. Get in touch below to see what opportunities are available for your team!

Here's the kind of work mission teams have done.

Providing life-enriching opportunities.

One team recently helped to build an accessible boat ramp, so that residents could ride a pontoon boat. Other teams have provided activities, crafts, and recreational opportunities to share with our residents.

Leading lessons and music.

One of the most popular activities with the residents is singing together. Leading devotionals or song times can make a big difference for our residents.

Making home improvements.

Teams have helped to make significant improvements to our residential homes through paint, landscaping, and other household improvements.

Cooking meals together.

The simple act of making and sharing a meal together can have a real impact not only on the residents, but also on your team.

Because Jesus' table is accessible for everyone...

We desire to see the Church make room for all people affected by disability. To fully participate. To fully partner. To fully lead.

We exist to equip and empower the 25% of the population with a disability, their families, and their churches to become who God has created them to be.
