Ryan Wolfe
It is Ryan’s passion to equip and empower churches, organizations, and individuals to reach their disability communities for Jesus. Ryan comes to Ability Ministry with 15+ years of ministry experience. He previously worked at First Christian Church in Canton, Ohio as their full-time Disability Pastor. He also worked as a Church Consultant for Key Ministry. Ryan is an ordained Pastor. Micah 6:8 and Proverbs 31:8 best describe Ryan’s commitment to life and ministry. He is available for speaking, training, and consultation.

Bart Jones
Bart Jones is deeply passionate about helping individuals know and experience the love of Christ then go make a difference in this world. Bart’s connection to Ability Ministry runs deep—he first visited on a mission trip with his youth group 34 years ago. On that trip, he saw the incredible diversity of God’s children and was struck by the truth that God sees and loves us all. That moment sparked something in him to help advocate and serve individuals with disabilities, a calling he has carried ever since. For the past 15 years, he has faithfully served on the Board of Directors to help guide the ministry’s vision and impact.
Bart grew up in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and has served in ministry for many years, including as the Associate Minister of Contemporary Worship and Teens at Northside Christian Church in Georgetown, Kentucky, and as Senior Minister of Community Christian Church in London, Kentucky. In every role, he has led with a heart for discipleship, outreach, and community impact. Known for his engaging communication style, relational approach, and passion, Bart is committed to equipping churches and leaders to embrace and champion Ability Ministry.
Bart and his wife, Bridgette, are devoted parents to their son, Declan. They love Jesus and love spending time together, spending time with friends, and serving others.

Gary Spangler
Gary is responsible for the overall management of the ministry. A long-time member of the board of directors, Gary is originally from Louisville, Kentucky. He attended the Okolona Christian Church where his father was pastor for 18 years. Gary is an ordained minister and has been an elder at the McDonough Christian Church in McDonough, Georgia. His background is in the airline industry. He has over 30 years of business experience and has always been involved in the Christian Church as a worship leader, choir director or teacher. Gary was the lead singer for the Peachland Quartet for 20 years. Gary and his wife Becky continue to be excited as this ministry grows and many people are served. Gary is available for speaking and singing engagements.

Rhonna McBride
In August of 1989, Rhonna was hired on as as a part-time resident manager and has worked her way up to the position of Director of Residential Services of the Riverwood Campus. Before coming to Riverwood, Rhonna attended Johnson University where she became involved in the Disability Ministry program. The residents of Riverwood refer to her as “Momma Rhonna” or “the other mother.” Rhonna speaks on behalf of Ability Ministry to women’s church gatherings, church camps, disability classes at Johnson University and the Maryville High School disability awareness program. She has also been consulted by the City of Louisville, Tennessee, pertaining to the American Disability Act, and she has written articles for Ability Ministry.

Jason Morrison
Jason joins the Ability Ministry team and brings over 20 years of graphic design and marketing experience to the table. He has handled projects from local start-up businesses to publicly owned internationally based companies, including a Shark Tank company. He has won numerous awards and accolades along with having his work appear in a variety of publications and books. Jason currently resides in Louisville with his wife, two daughters, and dog Pepper. In his spare time, he is a coaches weightlifting and powerlifting at a local CrossFit affiliate. He and his family attend Southeast Christian Church.

Bronwyn Murphy
Bronwyn is committed to connecting with and supporting churches to build thriving communities for those with disabilities and special needs. Bronwyn currently serves as the Inclusion Coordinator at University Covenant Church in Davis, CA and equips churches and families impacted by disability in the Evangelical Covenant Church. She holds a special education credential with previous experience educating children and teens in public school and residential settings. She is married with 3 children and is an avid San Francisco 49ers fan. Bronwyn is available for consultation, training, and speaking.
